Some highlights of Q2 and Q3 2018 releases include:

  • Announcement of the new SAP Cloud Platform SDK for Android, included in SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Service and built collaboratively with Google. The strength of SAP Cloud Platform merges with the Android operating system in this new native mobile app development feature.
  • SAP Fiori Cloud now offers more than 6,000 apps, featuring content that covers business roles across 13 lines of business and 30+ industries.
  • It’s now easier than ever to transition from SAP Enterprise Portal to SAP Cloud Platform Portal. New tools including a content migration tool and KM migration tool are now available.

Australian agricultural giant RuralCo deployed an innovative mobile stocktaking solution, delivering on its strategic commitment to provide great service to Australia’s farmers. The mobile application reduces stocktaking time from 15-30 hours down to 2 hours with nearly 100% accuracy. The application took only 6 weeks to develop.

Argentinian citrus company San Miguel employs 7,500 employees and harvests 150,000 tons of fresh fruit annually. San Miguel has created a mobile app that reduces the time required to prepare plans in the groves from 4 hours down to 30 minutes, and reduces planning notes from 8 hours to 90 minutes.
