For this reason, the Caissargues, France–based company wanted to reduce the duration and complexity of its sales transaction process, giving sales teams the time to listen to customers and discuss their medical requirements with them in detail.
To address this, the company embarked on a range of digital transformation projects to streamline and shorten the sales process. With the help of SAP partner PM SAS, Bastide deployed an order processing solution built on SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori apps, and the SAP HANA business data platform to simplify cash desk operations in over 70 retail stores across the country. The project has significantly accelerated cash desk operations, cut training time, and freed up sales assistants to spend more time counselling customers about their health.
